Biography[]
Carlo, along with his brother Alessandro, served as Italian slaves during the 1940's. Alessandro grew depressed of his state and attempted suicide by slitting his wrists, miraculously surviving.

One night, Carlo tried to abandon the slave labor. Unfortunately, he was shot in the back by a guard before he could escape.
Decades after his death, Carlo emerged from his grave along with five others. He was taken into custody by James Hayes and driven to the doctor's office, where he identified himself as Carlo Nico.
While talking with Maria Rose Massola, another member of the Risen, Carlo had flashbacks of his previous life. He told Maria that Alessandro was going to die. Dr. Elishia McKellar stated that she had a patient named Alessandro Nico, who was in his 90's. Carlo convinced James to take him to see his brother.
On the way to Alessandro's house, Carlo began to bleed from his eyes. When James asked if he was alright, Carlo exited the car and had a flashback of his death. He then turned to ash after crossing the bridge of an invisible boundary. James collected his ashes and returned to the doctor's office to tell Elishia what had happened, promising her to keep it a secret until they figured out more about what was going on.
In the following episode, it was revealed that Alessandro died of a heart attack, coincidentally after Carlo's death.
